Please read these files before purchasing one of our puppies.
Our puppies are born in our home, NOT in a kennel atmosphere. They are NOT kept in crates unless they are being potty
trained. They receive loads of attention on a daily basis from us to stimulate them with human sound and touch. They are
exposed to the regular household noises and activities and experience being groomed several times before going to their
new homes.
At the appropriate age and weather permitting, they do spend time each day outside in a safe enclosed area where they can receive the needed sunshine and fresh air so vital to a puppy's well-being and physical growth.
Our puppies are examined and vaccinated by a licensed pet care professional as they make an individual veterinarian visit before being ready to go to their new homes at 10-12 weeks of age. We do not vaccinate or dock tails and remove dewclaws ourselves.
While there is never a perfect guarantee of health when breeding, we try our best to utilize the current testing available to reduce the risk of producing heath issues. Therefore we strive to offer you puppies whose parents have passed those screening tests. We wait until the approximate age of 2 years when hips can be certified before breeding any of our dogs and many times our moms are three and four before they even have their first litter. Most of the health records of any of the adults that are in our breeding program or are retired can actually be viewed by typing their full registered name into the OFA database. We supply copies of the parents health records when you purchase a puppy from that particular litter.
REQUIREMENTS FOR PERSPECTIVE OWNERS:
We are looking for "forever homes" for our puppies.
If you would like to be considered when inquiring about our puppies, please tell us a little about yourself and the kind of home you can offer a poodle companion by filling out our puppy application linked at the top of this page. This will also give us an idea of what you are looking for.
We do not ship our puppies alone unless one of his/her new family members is traveling with them. The closest large airport is two hours away. We can arrange to meet you at the airport.
And
We require two references from you, one from the veterinarian and one from a groomer that you will be seeing with your new puppy. This applies to EVERYONE who wants to purchase a puppy from us whether you have owned Standards in the past or not as this provides us with information about you from someone else who knows you and your pets and will assure us that our puppies will be well taken care of once they are in their new homes. These can be in the form of a written letter, phone call or email from these pet care professionals.
IfIf you are a first-time dog owner and live in a busy traffic area, we will only consider homes that have a fenced/secure play area.
This allows a puppy to get the off-leash exercise it needs in a safe place so it can grow into a mentally and physically well-adjusted, loving companion.
The prices for our puppies are $1000.00 to $1200.00 .........this is for limited AKC registration. We give priority to our extended puppy families by giving a reduced price on some select puppies. At times we find ourselves with a puppy or puppies that have not found their forever homes and so we give priorty to families that have owned or currently own a standard by offering a reduced price as well.
Our printed health guarantee contract offers a replacement puppy on any puppy placed for $1000.00 or more.

This means that you could receive $25.00 back for earning a title up to two in Obedience, Agility, Retrieving or being certified in Therapy........ A CGC does not count.

A minimum $200.00 non-refundable deposit is required to hold a puppy once the litter arrives but before they are ready to go to their new homes. We don't accept checks but will accept money orders, credit cards or cash. Payments can be made while the puppy is in our care but must be paid in full before your puppy goes home with you.

The majority of our puppies are sold with limited registration which means he/she can not be shown in the conformation ring but can compete in Obedience, Agility, and Hunt events. We highly encourage you to involve your poodle in one of these sports as it can be very rewarding not to mention lots of fun for the dog and the whole family. It also means that if you go ahead and breed this dog, AKC will not register the puppies from that litter. We strongly recommend spaying or neutering your puppy at the appropriate age of (10-14 months).

On rare occasions, we will consider placing a puppy in a show/breeding home. Be prepared to pay from $1500.00-$2000.00 for full registration. NO exceptions unless we want a puppy back as part of the contract. Ask for details.

Puppies will leave our home at 10--12 weeks of age and at that time your puppy will have had two series of puppy vaccinations and be wormed. They will eventually need one more series plus a rabies shot.
Puppies under 6 months of age, who are going through the teething process, do better with free-style exercise as the tugging and pulling of a leash/collar can cause irritation to them when they are already experiencing allot of mouth/jaw discomfort during this normal developmental stage.
