Forever In My Heart

Although I'm not their owner,

I cared for them each day.

I cuddled, hugged, and loved them

and joined them in their play.

I saw each new accomplishment

and watched them grow and learn.

when they came to me for comfort,

I kissed them with concern.

No I'm not their owner

but my role is just as strong.

I nurture them and keep them safe,

though maybe not for long.

I know that the day will come

when we will have to part

but each and every puppy 

I help raise..............

is forever in my heart!

Our puppies have gone on to their new homes with families from all over our state of Michigan and the Upper Penninsula, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Iowa/Illinois border, North Carolina, Florida, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New York, Washington D.C. and Maine.

They have also went to the countries of Canada and Austria.

Many of these photos are examples of the same dog at different ages to show how colors develop.....for example creams can start out with very orange ears and apricot highlights before clearing to cream.  The apricots can start out darker or lighter and change to the opposite shade. Blues are born black and take upto three plus years to clear to blue and even then there can be different shades of blue at adulthood.............we thank our puppy families for keeping us updated.....................enjoy!
